Wedding lashes and brows: a timeline that leaves room to decide
Plan trials, patch tests and final appointments around your wedding, makeup trial and travel without a last-minute rush.

The useful bit
Try an unfamiliar treatment well ahead of the wedding, then agree the final appointment dates with your artist and makeup artist.
Plan backwards from more than the wedding date
Write down the wedding, your makeup trial, travel dates and any pre-wedding events. Then add the treatments you are considering. Seeing them together makes it easier to spot a clash between aftercare and something such as swimming, a spa visit or a long journey.
This is a planning approach rather than a fixed medical or treatment schedule. The final dates should be agreed with the professionals providing your services. Availability, your previous experience and the products used all matter more than a generic countdown.
Use a trial to decide what you like
If you have never worn extensions or had a lift, make the first conversation well ahead of the final week. A trial can help you decide whether the finish feels like you and whether you enjoy the maintenance. It is not a guarantee that a future treatment cannot cause a reaction.
Explain how you want your eyes to look with wedding makeup, in daylight and in photographs. Bring references, but say what you like about each one. Our extension style comparison and lift-versus-extension guide can help you narrow the options before the consultation.
Coordinate with your makeup artist
Tell your makeup artist which lash treatment you are considering and ask what it means for the eye look. If extensions are planned, discuss any additional lashes, mascara and removal products before the day. The lash artist and makeup artist should both understand the plan.
Do the same for brows. A very defined brow may look different alongside a full makeup look from how it looks on a bare face. If you are considering lamination, discuss the desired hair direction and colour rather than leaving the finish open to interpretation.
Build patch testing and aftercare into the diary
At Flirty, leave at least 48 hours between the relevant patch test and treatment. Confirm the correct test for each service, especially when combining lashes and brows. A clear test does not rule out every later reaction; read our patch-test guide before finalising dates.
Check the specific aftercare before placing a treatment next to a spa day, swim or holiday. Manufacturer guidance for lifts and brow lamination commonly includes an early period of restrictions, but the timing varies by product. Ask your artist for the actual instructions instead of relying on a wedding checklist written for another system.
Agree the final appointment together
There is no single number of days before a wedding that suits every client and treatment. Tell the studio whether this is a repeat of a successful trial, when you travel and whether you already wear extensions. Ask whether the final booking should be an infill, full set, lift or brow appointment.
Avoid assuming that a quick top-up can make a large style change. If you need more appointment time or want to change the look from your trial, raise it when booking. The Hybrid or Premium guide explains why time and detail can be more relevant than simply asking for fuller lashes.
Keep the final week simple
Have a written record of your chosen appointments, the relevant aftercare and who to contact with questions. Confirm any change in your skin, eyes or treatment history before attending. A wedding deadline should not pressure you into going ahead with an unresolved concern.
Compare the current treatment menu, read about brow lamination versus wax and tint, and contact Flirty Studios to put the dates together. The aim is a finish you recognise and enjoy, with enough room in the plan to make considered decisions.
